You'll apply the most up-to-date costing techniques and information to provide thorough itemized analyses that are clear and accessible to clients, project managers, and the entire project team.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare cost estimates for development and construction phases, based on the most up-to-date data available.</li><li>Create production operating cost estimates tailored to the project's current phase.</li><li>Develop construction schedules that align with the project's timeline and requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with Project Managers and the project team to establish effective work breakdown structures.</li><li>Supply Project Managers with recommendations on development and construction strategies derived from accessible data. Generate expenditure schedules for different project phases.</li><li>Support other areas necessary to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product within schedule and budget.</li><li>Assist in other areas required to deliver a quality product on schedule and on budget.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Relevant training and/or certification in project cost estimating, with 1-3years of experience in a similar role.</li><li>Proficiency in preparing construction and development cost estimates.</li><li>Strong analytical, numerical, and research skills.</li><li>Proficiency in spreadsheet and scheduling software (minimum requirement: Excel, MSProject). Bluebeam Software experience is a plus!</li><li>Experience with database cost estimating software is preferred.</li><li>Effective leadership skills and above-average written and oral communication abilities.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.</li></ul>Salary:<ul><li>Full-Time</li><li>Starting Salary is $70.000 per year, commensurate with experience.</li></ul>

For more information, please visit: <a href="http://www.germaniaconstruction.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">http://www.germaniaconstruction.com/</a> Responsibilities<ul><li>Client Introduction: Participate at client interview, explain software tools, review design/build schedule, set expectations for clients regarding final costs.</li><li>Estimating: Understanding the clients non-negotiable needs/wants, sorting and inputting information into CoConstruct Specs for Estimator, participating in review and finalizing the Control Estimate.</li><li>Specification Approval/Schedule Management: Follow order and flow of design/build schedule, reviewing all items per schedule, cost variances and change orders, keep team informed of scheduled items/upcoming approvals, and owner/designer job delays. Create PO Packet and write PO to subcontractors/vendors.</li><li>Weekly Meetings/Review: Meets with the General Manager to review each job, review of the construction/design build schedule. Meets with the individual Supers to review the construction schedule, and all approved specification documentation. Meets with the Estimator to review items, make budget adjustments, and give final approval in CoConstruct for cost variances/changed orders.</li><li>Turnover: Deliver turnover/warranty book to clients and company owner, reviews warranty and maintenance schedule, make sure punch list is completed, and track for completion.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years relevant experience.</li><li>Ability to understand and use CoCostruct construction management software is preferred.</li><li>Proven experience working in high-end residential.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED required.
